About

Software engineer and Moose Vinyl co-founder.

Killian Welsch

Hi, I'm Killian Welsch, an Atlanta-based software engineer who likes building products end to end, from the data model to the pixels. I studied Computer Science and Engineering at Ohio State, then spent four years at FIS building digital banking and payments products.

Outside of that, I co-founded Moose Vinyl, a collection app and marketplace for vinyl record collectors, where I lead engineering. I took the iOS app all the way from concept to the App Store. It sits right at the intersection of two things I care a lot about: well-crafted software and music.

Away from the keyboard I'm usually outdoors. I'm working toward a sub-3:00 marathon, with a life goal of qualifying for Boston. That love of long efforts started with Journey of Hope, 63 days and 3,725 miles cycling from San Francisco to Washington, D.C. to raise money and awareness for people with disabilities. It is still one of the most formative experiences of my life.
